Providing Subsurface EM & High Imaging Interface Radar for Engineering and Geophysical Investigations for all the Hawaiian islands.

Before you begin a project, it's important to be aware of and prepared for potential obstructions. Haggith's Structural Scan & Inspections (HSSI) uses a non-invasive method with the best technology available to provide high-quality data acquisition, analysis, and imaging to locate buried obstructions. HSSI conducts a ground penetrating radar investigation of floors, slabs and walls to identify conduits, rebar, tension cables, voids and other buried obstructions to the depth of 18 inches in concrete structures. We also provide deeper investigations with our Utility Scan and EM Systems. Trust us to accurately locate any buried obstructions before you start your reconstruction project.

About nondestructive testing

Nondestructive testing (NDT) is a way to examine and evaluate ground, pavement, concrete, bridge decks, and other inaccessible locales. It uses methods such as subsurface interface radar, ground penetrating radar, EM systems and other structural scans in order to deliver an accurate image of areas that are hidden from the naked eye.
As the name suggests, NDT does not result in any destruction or damage. In fact, the techniques that we use do not impact tested areas in any way.

A look at our testing methods

The different methods that are used by Haggith's Structural Scan & Inspection LLC for engineering and geophysical investigations include:
  • Subsurface interface radar
  • Ground penetrating radar
  • High imaging electromagnetic systems
Our methods our proven to be effective, and we are able to conduct more comprehensive examinations than our competitors. The equipment we use was manufactured before 9/11, meaning the power of our scan is much stronger than is possible with today’s equipment. With our technology and equipment we can Clear proposed trenching and excavation areas and provide QA and QC reports. For additional details about our work, please take a moment to visit this page.
